This certainly gave feminism a bad name. It was years before -for the most part - both men and women felt comfortable opening doors for ~anyone~ regardless as to whether they were of the same sex or not.<br /><br />In the aftermath of the "extreme independence and antagonism" I have found myself on several occasions explaning what feminism really means to both men and women for whom that period left a bad taste in their mouth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
